Our Parents and Friends Committee is an important body in our school community.
We warmly encourage parents of our school community to be actively involved in the day-to-day life of Penrith Christian School. This may include volunteering a few hours each term covering books in our iCentre, or you may prefer being in the classroom leading a Reading Group or assisting with a Sports Carnival, Excursion or Camp. We appreciate school is a large part of your child’s life and we want to make Penrith Christian School part of your life too. Relationships are the cornerstone of our community and we truly value our partnership with parents as being an integral part of every child’s school life.
We are committed to the care and protection of our students and champion a child safe culture.
As child safety is a shared responsibility at all levels of the School Community, we ask that you assist our risk management by becoming familiar with our policy and procedures in relation to volunteering at PCS.
It is a prerequisite that our volunteers have a Volunteer Working with Children Check number and two reference checks
Prior to volunteering, we request that the Volunteer Declaration be completed and returned to Student Reception or emailed to email@example.com
From fundraising to friend-raising to coordinating special events and ensuring our students are thriving in a vibrant environment.
We meet once a term achieving many positive outcomes for the school throughout the year.
Elections were held on Wednesday 11 May 2022 for President, Vice-President and Secretary.
