Visual Arts Teacher - minimum 0.6FTE or by negotiation

Join us as a part time Visual Arts Teacher

We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and collaborative candidate for this part time position to join our dedicated Creative & Performing Arts team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic educator who is a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church. As part of our cohesive CAPA team, you will be committed to articulate the vision for strengthening and building upon a strong foundation in line with our Great Learning, Well People framework.

About You

With the ability to drive and facilitate a deep love of learning in students, your Christian faith will be evident in your ability to integrate an authentic Christian worldview into student learning experiences. Along with NESA accreditation and a current Working with Children Check, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • recent experience across all stages, particularly Stage 6, is desirable
  • high level of passion and interest in the creative arts
  • a collaborative, innovative and effective practice
  • highly relational interpersonal skills
  • a demonstrated capacity to work and contribute as a member of an effective faculty
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • flexibility and interest in working in an innovative and dynamic environment
  • excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms.
  • Current First Aid qualification preferred or willingness to obtain
