Executive Assistant to Business Manager

Work alongside our Business Manager in an admin role

We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and collaborative person to join our Operations team in the Administration division. The successful candidate will be a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church.

In this role of Executive Assistant, you will be providing professional administrative support to our Business Manager, whilst also supporting him in managing Compliance and Work, Health & Safety within our school environment. This is a busy role with lots of variety, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised and thrives in a team environment.

This is a role with flexibility, contributing to a great work-life balance. You will be required to work during school terms, staff development weeks and one week of each school holiday break. Your hours will be 7.55am to 3.55pm Monday to Friday, although specific working hours can be negotiated for the right candidate. There are occasional out of hours' time commitments required to support executive events.

About You

Along with a current Working with Children Check, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, parents and other members of the wider community
  • Willingness and flexibility to assist the team in all areas
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight timeframes
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Strong ICT skills across a range of platforms, particularly Microsoft
  • Current First Aid qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in a similar role with WHS/compliance is highly desirable.
