About Middle School
Middle School is concerned with the spiritual, academic and personal growth of students in a safe, supportive, challenging and authentically Christian environment, where we model positive relationships, celebrate diversity and nurture academic excellence for each and every student.
Hebrews 10:24 advises:
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds”, our aim is therefore to provide a caring, nurturing and encouraging environment where students can achieve their finest, honouring God and respecting differences in others in the process”.
Middle School caters for Years 5 to 8 and encompasses a curriculum that is driven and differentiated to meet the diverse and varied needs and learning styles of our students.
Our Middle School program progressively accesses specialist areas, specialised teachers and innovative programs, which are specifically designed for their stage of learning, yet still maintaining a ‘homeroom teacher’ for several subjects. This ensures students are known and cared for individually, and provides a positive transition, and a safe and stable learning environment.
The Middle School structure offers security and challenge for the students and a strong pastoral oversight of their needs, as well as a distinctive focus on growing the students as Godly peacemakers. Pastoral Care and Biblical Studies are at the heart of our school philosophy to grow Truth, Integrity and Excellence in an inherently and deeply founded Christian context.
