PCS students and staff at Nepean Triathlon

The Nepean Triathlon is held at the International Regatta Centre in Penrith and is Australia's oldest triathlon. It consists of 'Enticer' races on Saturday afternoon, and the main triathlon event on the Sunday. This year it was held on 27 and 28 October.

Congratulations to the students and staff from Penrith Christian School who competed in these events over the weekend (see below), with lots of PBs and steely determination. Triathlon is a sport which requires as much mental concentration as it does physical strength, so we are very proud of everyone's efforts!

It would be great to see even more PCS staff and students enter these races next year so we can have a strong Penrith Christian School presence at the events - see if you can beat Mr Gentile or Mr Grice!

Each year PCS competes at the CSSA State Biathlon/Triathlon (which this year was held on Thursday 25 October). We had many students from Year 5 and above compete for the first time in this sport as well as more 'seasoned' triathletes. Once again, it would be wonderful to see more students take up this 'all round' sport and represent PCS at future triathlon events.
