NASA Live at PCS

Penrith Christian School was selected as one of only ten schools in Australia for a special live event with Todd Barber, Propulsion Engineer with NASA. The live feed meeting was held on Monday 19 August at 9.00 am (Sydney time) in the PCS Auditorium.

NASA/JPL Propulsion Engineer Todd Barber provided us all with a mission overview of the recently launched Mars 2020 mission – its Perseverance Rover and Ingenuity Helicopter. Topics discussed included: the scientific motivation, mission design, instrument payloads, and how this mission fits into NASA's long-term Mars exploration goals.

We are certainly honoured to have been a part of this event with the live feed made possible by One Giant Leap Australia Foundation.
