Missions at our local nursing homes

It has been a tough year for local nursing home residents with many ongoing restrictions. While we were unable to visit this year in person, we still have the opportunity to show kindness to others this Christmas.

A variety of students’ artwork from Kinder to Year 6 have been laminated and turned into placemats that the residents can use at meal times. These artworks showcase the talent of our students and were completed with Mrs Tammy Fraser earlier this year.

They will remind the residents at Governor Phillip and Anglicare New March nursing home that they are loved and not forgotten. A local dance school in Emu Plains, You Can Dance, also contributed some cheerful artworks to add to the cause.

Never lose sight of the fact that you CAN make a difference in someone’s else world. Let’s continue to shine the love of Jesus with many random acts of kindness in our community.
