Middle School Batemans Bay Mission Trip
On Thursday 5 September, a team of nine Year 8 students travelled to Batemans Bay as part of our annual mission trip to serve the local community. The team partnered with Rob and Cheryl Burton (former PCS staff member) who pastor Batemans Bay Baptist Church. Through the Burtons, we were able to be connected and serve other ministries in the area including Cross Central Church.
The team of students led youth group nights, performed worship music, participated in a working bee at the Baptist Church, led a Sunday church service and joined in at Batemans Bay High School scripture lunch group.
Moreover, students had the opportunity to share their testimony and speak before others which was beautiful to see.
It was an amazing trip as each member grew in their relationship with God and understanding of what mission is. As a team we would like to thank you for your prayers and support. God honoured them and was glorified through this group of students. It was an honour and blessing to have led this amazing group of students and I know this trip will stay with them forever.
Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Truly, truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
