Penrith Christian School would like to introduce and congratulate those who have received the title of Year 4 Leaders, for Semester 1, 2018. It is a true honour and we are proud that these Year 4 students have taken this role seriously and stepped up to the challenge.
Student Leadership roles are an important part of the program at Penrith Christian School as they provide opportunities for students to have a ‘voice’ in what happens throughout the School, as well as enabling students to develop their own leadership skills.
Our students are required to help and support events that take place during the day-to-day activities of our school life. Leaders are chosen to represent the student body in the following ways:
Meetings with staff
Represent the School at outside functions
Be a role model for other students and be respectful of their position
Be pro-active in playground issues
Deliver welcome and thank you speeches to special visitors and guests
Greet and welcome special visitors at the school gates and show visitors to the office
Represent the students at discussions with the staff or parent groups
Take a lead role in morning and Friday Chapel assemblies
It will be very exciting to see them develop and grow as the year progresses as they use their gifts to bless and grow Jesus’ Kingdom.
Haven't I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don't be timid; don't get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take.
