Introducing: Talitha Treasure – School Counsellor
Hi, I’m Talitha Treasure, Counsellor for Early Childhood and Junior School. This is my first year at PCS and I’m thoroughly enjoying the role.
I am honoured to share and be a part of this amazing Christian School community as I see huge opportunity to showcase the love and grace of God as I meet with students, teachers and parents.
I come with a background in Psychology, Social Work and Counselling, with the core of my work experience being relationship counselling with families, adolescents and young children. A significant part of my work experience has been overseas where I worked with families with disability, grief and trauma. My Christian upbringing and love for Jesus has given me a good foundation to stand on in times of sadness and pain. I value my Christian faith and hope to contribute in and continue to make this School community a safe and pleasant place.
I am married to a wonderful man, Tarun and we have two daughters under the age of 10 years. Tarun and I moved from India to Australia in 2006. We have embraced this land and made it our own since. As a family we love to travel, experience new places, explore different cultures and noting the rich history and traditions people share. We also love a quiet dinner and a game of Scrabble.
It’s been a remarkable start at PCS and I look forward to working with this community more.
