I have really enjoyed the start to 2018 at PCS. I have loved getting to know the staff and students who have been so welcoming.
I come to PCS with over 10 years teaching experience and 10 years’ experience in the profession of Nursing (Midwifery). For the last eight and a half years, I have taught at St George Christian School in Hurstville. It was at St George that I was shown how to teach with Christ at the centre of each lesson and to pastorally care for all students. I thoroughly enjoy watching students grow in their general knowledge but particularly in their relationship with God.
Outside of PCS, I am married to an extremely supportive man named Danny and we have two gorgeous daughters, Hannah and Elyssa. Hannah and Elyssa have also commenced at PCS this year. Together as a family we like to go on holiday adventures, watch the NRL and ‘eat out’ as often as we can.
I moved into the area when I married 7 years ago this month. I used to travel the distance to work and I must say, a 10 minute drive each way in comparison to a 70 minute drive each way makes for one happy (and more relaxed) person. I am now getting to know the Penrith area, however still have a lot to learn.
My interests include travelling, hanging out with friends and family, watching movies or musicals, and I am now becoming a ‘gardener’. I have enjoyed a couple of short mission trips and have a desire to participate in many more once my girls are older.
The PCS community has made me feel so welcomed and I thank you for that. I look forward to getting to know many more of you over the years to come.
