Introducing: Mrs Evie Burry
It has been a delight to come and work at PCS.
My husband James and I have found moving to Penrith really encouraging and a blessing from God. James grew up here in Penrith and the lower Blue Mountains, this is back home for him. We have been married for two years this month and are excited to see what God has in store for our lives here.
I grew up in Valla Beach on the mid coast of NSW, near Coffs Harbour. My Mum and Dad are still up there. I have grown up knowing God, in church and Christian education. I have an older sister and younger brother and we are all teaching in Christian Schools.
Over the past seven years I have taught on the coast, out west and down in the heart of the Capital, and now here in Penrith. In Canberra I taught K/1 and Kinder for the past five years. Canberra showed me how to teach with Christ at the centre, to pray deeply, and to love and serve others.
I love a good weekend adventure, walking on a beach, hanging out with friends and family, going on short mission trips, photographing mountains, doing fitness dance, being creative and drinking a good cuppa. I am also often found patting my cat Snowball whilst on Pinterest, other teacher websites or watching Netflix. I enjoying cooking dinner and baking treats for others.
I look forward to getting to know this community more and thank you for welcoming me to PCS.
