Go Gold for September
As a prep student at PCS, Evie was involved with raising funds for The Kids’ Cancer Project. Her sister, Alicia, and family and friends, continue to fundraise in honour of Evie and to continue her legacy.
The Kids’ Cancer Project are passionate about finding a cure by funding scientists and research.
On Tuesday 22 September, Middle and Senior School students are invited to wear a yellow or gold accessory in honour of Evie, and bring a gold coin donation to raise funds for The Kids’ Cancer Project (TKCP).

Teagan Bowler - ‘The reason this cause was chosen is because it is very close to the heart of Penrith Christian School due to two students in the school family being diagnosed with cancer at a young age. This day is important to assist in raising money for childhood cancer research, and we can support this cause by wearing a yellow or gold accessory, and donating a gold coin.’
‘Hi my name is Alicia and I’m helping to raise money for childhood cancer research. September is childhood cancer awareness month and the colour gold or yellow represents this month. You might already know but my sister got diagnosed with childhood cancer herself and we celebrate September childhood awareness month by wearing something yellow or gold. You can help by wearing a gold or yellow accessory and bringing a gold coin to help raise money for childhood cancer awareness.’
