2019 Years 3-6 Swimming Carnival

The 2019 Years 3-6 Swimming Carnival was held in Week 3 this term. It was a very hot and muggy day, but it was great to see tremendous enthusiasm by the students in entering plenty of events and cheering on their respective Houses.

It was also wonderful to have many parents there helping out – thank you so much.

The Year 10 Physical Activity and Sports Studies class was also there doing a variety of roles including serving food and cooking the BBQ.

Olivia Galea from Year 3 set a number of new records for 9 Year Girls – these records were:

The House Cheer competition was very close – with all three Houses showing great enthusiasm, creativity and passion in singing out their various chants. Well done to the House Captains and Sport Captains in their efforts with getting their cheers and teams ready. The House Cheer was won by Caleb House, closely followed by Daniel House and then Joshua House.

The House Champion points were also VERY close, with great participation by students and some very close relay results. The overall Champions were: Caleb House – 522 points, second was Daniel House on 510 points and then Joshua House on 314 points.
