Penrith Christian School is a well-established and vibrant Christian community, providing an exciting and innovative learning environment for 800 Preschool-Year 12 students in our 21st Century Learning Facility at Orchard Hills.

 

Due to the growth of our Junior School, we are seeking applications from committed Christians, active in their local church, to join our team in 2018.

 

We are seeking teachers, able to demonstrate a passion for engaging students' love of learning, inspiring and leading students, whilst maintaining and developing strong connections with parents and the school community.

 

You will need to be able to demonstrate: 

  • knowledge of recent research and practices in enquiry learning, data driven learning and 21st century approaches

  • collaborative, innovative and effective practice in a current teaching context

  • highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents

  • a demonstrated capacity to work as a member of a team member

  • excellent oral and written communication skills

  • flexibility and interest in working in an innovative and dynamic environment

  • excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms.

 

Mandatory Requirements include:

  • NESA accreditation

  • a current Working With Children Check approval number 

  • an active Christian faith and current church involvement

We are inviting applications from committed Christians, active in their local church, to join our team in 2018.

 

Due to the retirement of a staff member, we are seeking an experienced and collaborative person who has the necessary experience and knowledge to be able to fulfil the requirements of this Support Staff position.

 

You will need to be able to demonstrate: 

  • evidence of experience and appropriate training in a Laboratory role

  • experience/training in Chemical Safety and WHS practices

  • evidence of capacity to contribute in a team environment

  • highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents

  • a demonstrated capacity to work as a wider school team member

  • excellent oral and written communication skills

  • flexibility and organisational skills in self-management of time and working to direction

  • excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms

Due to the retirement of our current iCentre Manager, we are seeking applications from committed Christians, active in their local church, to join our team in 2018.

 

We are looking to appoint an experienced and collaborative Librarian, able to lead and manage the school iCentre with a passion for developing and maintaining our Library facilities, interfacing successfully with teaching and learning activities and resourcing the curriculum initiatives and learning needs of our Early Childhood to Year 12 facility.

 

The successful candidate will be an excellent team leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, and a high capacity for initiating and working within a fluid and dynamic learning environment.

 

Current knowledge and experience in 21st Century pedagogies would be a distinct advantage.

 

You will need to be able to demonstrate: 

  • recent experience as an Information Manager and Librarian in a similar school

  • evidence of success in a team leadership role 

  • evidence of collaborative, innovative and effective practice in a current context

  • highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents

  • a demonstrated capacity to work as a team member particularly in a whole E-12 school context

  • excellent oral and written communication skills

  • flexibility, and interest in working in an innovative and dynamic environment

  • excellent ICT skills using a range of administrative and educational tools.

We are inviting applications from committed Christians, active in their local church, to join our team in 2018.

 

Due to the expansion of our facility, we are seeking an experienced and collaborative TAS teacher, able to assist the TAS Learning Area with a passion for engaging students' love of Technology and the Practical Arts and fostering their skills, creativity and enjoyment of a full range of TAS courses up to and including HSC level.

 

You will need to be able to demonstrate: 

  • evidence of success in a current role

  • collaborative, innovative and effective practice in a current teaching context

  • highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents

  • a demonstrated capacity to work as a wider school team member

  • excellent oral and written communication skills

  • flexibility and interest in working in an innovative and dynamic environment

  • excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms

 

The following would be advantageous:

  • recent Stage 6 TAS (NESA) experience in several courses in the TAS learning area

  • HSC marking experience in one or more courses.
