Parent Update - May 12
Dear Parents and Caregivers
This is an update email about the schedule of returning the rest of our students to onsite face to face teaching over the next weeks.
As you know, we have had Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 12 return full time this week and Year 11 are returning next week. We have already been assessing the success of this and how we are adhering to the advice regarding a safe environment for Staff and Students.
The proposed plan for the rest of the Students is outlined below:
Week 5 (25 May): Years 2,3 and 4 return to onsite learning
Week 7 (9 June): Years 5,6,7,8,9 and 10 return to onsite learning
As each Year group returns, online learning for that Year group will cease and all delivery will be via face to face in the classroom. We understand that some of you have given feedback about not wanting your child to return just yet. Your feedback is appreciated and will be passed on to the relevant Head of School to be communicated to the relevant class teacher. They will then correspond as to what will be provided in your individual case.
The time in between the groups returning gives us the opportunity to review how things are going and modify things accordingly if need be. We are also conscious of making sure we are following the most up to date Health and Government advice. We continue to have a strict cleaning regime in place, as outlined in previous email correspondence, and have consciously been implementing social distancing as much as practicable.
The return of whole cohorts has been very successful.
We thank you for your support and patience as we have tried to implement and deliver the best plan for our School. We value your feedback.
